Hey there! I’m Nook. Actually, my real name is Anoek, which is kind of pronounced like Ah-nook. So to my English friends, I’ve always just been Nook, Nooks, or Nookie! You may have thought my brand name was inspired by Tom Nook from Animal Crossing, but no, it’s no! Though I’ll gladly take that as a happy coincidence, as I am a BIG Animal Crossing fan.
I’d say my real crochet artist journey started with the release of my free no-sew stegosaurus pattern. Since then, I’ve been pumping out new crochet patterns whenever the inspiration hits me. Currently, I’m most known for my no-sew bear pattern, and specifically my hoodie bears mod!
Next to crochet, I’m also a full time PhD researcher! Though my goal is to find a half time job after my PhD, so that I can focus even more on crochet.
